Cookie Policy
Which cookies this website uses, why, and how you can control them.
Effective date: 7 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Pro Cars Rental Limited (“PRO CARS”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your choices and to provide information to the site owner. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixels; in this policy we call them all “cookies”.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies to keep the website secure and working, to remember small preferences, and — only if you agree or if enabled — to understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it.
3. Cookies we use
- Strictly necessary — required for the website and its forms to work securely, for example to protect forms against spam and to keep administrators logged in. These cannot be switched off. Examples: wordpress_*, wordpress_logged_in_* (administrators only), wp-settings-*.
- Preference — remember choices you make, such as whether you have already seen the intro animation in this browsing session (pc_seen, session storage, deleted when you close the browser).
- Analytics — if we enable a service such as Google Analytics, these cookies collect information about how visitors use the website (pages visited, time spent, device type) in an aggregated form. Examples: _ga, _ga_* (up to 2 years).
- Marketing — if we enable advertising tools such as the Meta Pixel, these cookies help us measure the effectiveness of our adverts. Example: _fbp (up to 3 months).
- Third-party embedded content — pages that show Google Maps or YouTube videos may allow those services to set their own cookies when you view or interact with the content. We load YouTube videos using its privacy-enhanced mode where possible.
4. Your choices
Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before placing analytics or marketing cookies. You can change your mind at any time.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings: most browsers let you see which cookies are set, delete them, and block cookies from some or all websites. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the website, such as forms, from working. Guides are available from your browser’s help pages, and further information is available at aboutcookies.org and ico.org.uk.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the cookies we use. The latest version will always be published on this page.
6. Contact
