Self-drive hire starts from one day. Weekend bookings that include a Saturday have a two-day minimum. Chauffeur bookings have a minimum number of hours, confirmed in your quote.

We accept bank transfer and debit or credit card. Deposits can be taken as a pre-authorisation on a credit card. Card payments may incur a small processing fee.

Insurance is arranged for every self-drive hire. The level of cover and the excess for your chosen car are explained clearly in your quote before you book.

The excess varies by vehicle and is set out in your quote and rental agreement. Ask us about options to reduce it.

Yes — additional drivers can be added as long as they meet the same eligibility requirements and are approved before the hire starts.

Make sure everyone is safe and call 999 if anyone is injured. Then call us immediately. Take photos, exchange details with the other party and do not admit liability. We will guide you through every step.

Call us straight away. Our cars are fully serviced and covered by roadside assistance, and we will arrange recovery or a replacement wherever possible.

A booking payment secures your car. The balance and deposit are due before the vehicle is delivered or collected.

Once the car has been returned and inspected — usually the same or next working day for bank transfers. Card pre-authorisations are released straight away; your bank may take a few days to show it.

Yes. Changes are subject to availability. Cancellation terms are confirmed with your booking — please give us as much notice as possible.

The minimum age is 25. Some high-performance cars require drivers to be 30 or over with more driving experience.

A full driving licence held for at least 3 years, a passport or national ID, two proofs of address dated within the last 3 months, and a DVLA check code if you hold a UK licence.

Yes. Visitors can hire with a valid licence from their home country plus a passport. An International Driving Permit may be required if your licence is not in English.

Usually, if you have 6 points or fewer and no major convictions. Every application is assessed individually — just ask.

Each self-drive hire includes a daily mileage allowance, shown in your quote. Additional miles can be added in advance or are charged per mile on return.

Yes, anywhere in mainland UK. Taking a car abroad is only possible with our prior written agreement.

Any penalty charge notice issued during your hire is the hirer’s responsibility. We will transfer liability to you where possible, or recharge the fine plus an administration fee.

Yes. The Congestion Charge, ULEZ and any tolls are payable by the hirer for each day the car is driven in the zone. We are happy to explain how to pay.

We are legally required to provide the driver’s details to the issuing authority, and an administration fee applies.
